i'm a short 5'2" female that ways 146lbs and is built like a man(ie wide shoulders and no hips) I find it extremely difficult to fit 7mm suits...was hoping someone might have a bit of advice or maybe even solved this problem.

Try an Aquaflite custom suit. Very reasonable and I've hear very good reports on them.

On the stock side, try Bare or Pinnacle. You might find something there that will fit as well.
