How do you repair your wetsuit?

I'm planning to stitch openings in my socks/gloves/wetsuit,
but I need to apply something on the stitched area to make it waterproof.

Does aquaseal work? Or do you use any other cheap solutions?

Don't use aquaseal. It dries solid and inflexable. Use neoprene cement. follow the instructions on number of coats and wait times. It remains flexible and stretchy. Probably no need for stitching. Just add a surface coat or two of the neoprene cement after the tear is repaired.
