I show air and water temps of 80 for February 11th last year. For me, the cold was from the repetitive diving, you dread putting on the wetsuit
 
I take two 1 mil suits for tropical sites, if I get cold I can double up. Two one mils pack better and weigh less that my 3mil.
 
water temps are between 77 and 79 F. up along the west end of the island, I've been wearing my 1 mil skin and 3/2 mil shorty to stay warm
