I have a problem. I am new to diving and need to get a wet suit. The problem is that I am short and chunky. I have tried on several wet suits that fit correctly (according to the guy in the dive shop) everyplace but the legs. They are to long. So is there any way around this? Do I need a custom suit, if so then where is a good place that is kinda cheap? Can I purchase a wetsuit off the rack and then just go and get it hemed? Or does leg length really matter? Thanks for any kind of advice.

I don't know if u have tried the hyperstrech ones which claim to stretch about 250%. You might wanna try those becoz I read some good reviews about them. The cheaper ones I saw in that category on Ebay are Tilos Super Strech for $120. My suggestion is to go check out with ur LDS first if they work for u.
Good luck :10:
