currently in bunaken area, indonesia. will be in raja ampat in a few days.

Don't think it is a donut nembrotha. They have much more distinct "donuts", but more to the point are only found in a small section of the Australian east coast.

Through DNA studies names and species change, but I think this is a Nembrotha Kubaryana. I've pulled up The Seaslug Site and it says:

"...shows a considerable range in colour. Essentially black with green pustules, or green longitudinal ridges, there is a bright orange border to the foot and the rhinophore pockets and also around the oral lappets. In some specimens the rhinophores and gills have orange markings but in others, these are green. In some animals the green markings can be replaced by pinkish orange spots or elongate marks."

You can also try posting to Nudibase Sharing or ID please for additional help.

Enjoy Bunaken, I hear they've had some great critter sightings near the City Extra dive site!

i searched pictures of indonesian nudibranchs and found the name i posted in OP. we will be in raja ampat in 2 days for a 10 day stay (kri island). there are many divers at bunaken. reminds me of an indonesian cozumel if you have ever been to cozumel. lol. same thing. many divers, they just back the boat up to the wall and toss people in and pick you up after you have drifted in the current. the trick is for your boat to find you.

I happily found this nudibranch to be quite common during my time in North Sulawesi.
