so i have a dive rite backplate and rec wing, and was wondering what everyones uses for weight, belts or pockets

I think it's important to mention how much weight you are planning to carry.

Cold water divers with major lead frequently use a mix of belt, ditchable integrated and non ditchable.

If I were in warm water I'd probably go ditchable intefrated but then again there is something to be said for a cheap generic belt should it get left behind or get dropped while handing it up to a boat.

I have the DR Transweight 32. I also own a belt.

I can tell you the belt is gathering dust...

Funny. . . I have the DR TransWeight 32 and a belt . . . and the TransWeight is gathering dust.

This is for diving cold and diving warm.

just got a belt to go with my new bp/w, figure it's easier that way...

Isn't it more preference than anything? I'm switching to a bp/w and am going with weight pockets only because I'm used to a weight integrated bc.

Yeah I guess it is preference. The new pockets from D.R. have a quick release buckle to hold the pockets in. so you must release before you can ditch
