But to answer your question: yes, I've thought of it, and I've even posted about it before in a thread about calculations.
 
Blackwood...how dare you say its irrelevant. A 5lb weight from A company is not the same as a 5lb weight from Z company...what if there is an ounce difference in buoyed amount? This would mess up my trim and cause me not to be the excellent diver I am.

This is where you would adjust the thickness of your socks.

I think that this might improve your diving and you don't have to worry about an ounce here or and ounce there...:D

Herb, I thought that after that comment it would be adjusting the size of my hood.

Paul, too many people would like to see my do that...so I'll hold off until things get really bad.
