I normally dive integrated weights. But today I decided to purchase a weight pouch belt to use with my dry suit. I found it interesting that all of the belts had d-rings or attachment loops connected to them. The one I bought even has a female clip attachment on one side.

It got me thinking about what gear I would like to attach to my weight belt, and I can't think of anything that I would want to send to the bottom with my weights during an emergency.

Is there a good use for attachment loops on a weight belt? I was thinking about attaching my computer to it.

Not Really.....but I've got to clip something to it, don't I ?????

I just bought one of those belts, also. So far, I haven't clipped anything off to them. FWIW, I was wondering the same thing.

Attatch a line to it with a small bobber on the surface - then if the bobber sinks - the captain knows somethings not right :blinking:

I've used the one on mine for a clip/strap to hold my fins and/or mask. One less thing to carry in your hands during a long walk from the beach to the car.
