I am curious about how to store a bcd with a weight intergrated set up. I am thinking it would not be a good idea to store the bcd with the lead inside of it. I do not know if it would be bad for the BCD or not? I do know my closet rod will probally nto handle the strain of all the weight.

So weight in or weight out of the bcd for storage?

Your thinking is right, take the weight out of the BCD before storing it. I take the weight out of mine before i remove it from the tank at the end of the dive or dive day.

Thanks, I will make sure I do that. Right now the pockets are sitting on my coffee table. Thanks again

Since you have to take out the weight for rinsing your BCD after the dive trip, just let the weight in a floor corner in the closet after it has dried out, that way the weight can't fall and damage some gear or hurt anybody.

Same principle as when handling the weight belt in a boat, leave it on the floor until you strap it to your waist, in the case of integrated weight, leave it in the floor until you prepare your rig for a dive.
