Looking for some advice on how much additional weight I will need with a 7mm wetsuit. My usual suit is 3mm (Henderson Aqua Suede full). Need total of 16 lbs. 2 lbs. in each trim pocket, 6 in each integrated pouch.

Now that I'm going to dive a 7mm (plus hood and gloves) (San Diego water), I'm guessing I need to add 10 to 12 lbs?

I don't want to hauling a lot of useless lead around on the beach; on the other hand, don't want to have to stuff rocks in my pockets to be able to dive!

Does that sound about right?

I would guess at least 10lbs. I use about 12 pounds in warm water wearing a 3mm shorty and I use 27 lbs in cold water wearing a 2 piece 7mm suit.
