Exactly halfway between our Divers Lodge Lembeh and the Raja Ampat islands you will find Weda Bay, East coast of Central

Halmahera. Where.......? Indeed, this is the last white spot on the Indonesian dive map. One of the very few areas that never have been

effected by fish bombing. In this heart of the heart of the Coral Triangle we are happy and proud to open our Weda Resort.
Under water: everything from pygmy pipe horse until giant grouper. Above the surface: primary jungle, caves, lakes, rivers and a very rich bird life.

North Maluku region I guess, so which season is best dived knowing that mar-sept is Lembeh's best and that oct/may is Raja Ampat's?

How do we get information too on the resort/diving/rates, etc.? Can you provide a link?

Sorry Luko,

forgot to answer your question about the weather. First, I do not agree with you that March - September is the best time for Lembeh. Actually every time is fine here at Lembeh. Many of our repeaer guests prefer October - April. December and January can bring a strong swell from the North. But great diving then at the coast of Madidir and the ocean side of Lembeh Island. July/August often strong winds from the South. Thus better diving at Angel Window and other sites in that area.
For Weda Bay we are not sure yet. It is very well protected against any wind but the South. Probably in July and August more waves in the afternoon.
