Hola Cozumelinos and Cozumelinettes!
Well, we've been back for a little over a week, and I finally have a second to come up for air (no pun intended
)
Just a great 18 days of fun, sun, good friends and diving.
Got a dive, or two, in with ggunn and Mr. G., had a couple good meals and fellowship with Steve & Trina Parks (scubatree), met a couple other SB'ers, but sorry forgot your handles... getting old
Thanks to Eva and her staff at BA for all your hospitality. Thanks to DM's Mateo, Jose, Lazaro & Andres & Captain Eric. Thanks to Marcos at BAsouth for letting me use your computer when the group of 32 came in an rented all the house rental computers.
Thanks to Amethyst Amatista (Barfoot Sally) for the best massages ever, certificate of and everything. Massage: Barefoot in Cozumel do yourself a favor, book a massage with Sally!!!
Thanks to all the wonderful restaurateurs for feeding us so well, cuisine just gets better and better down there!
Sorry to Steve, Jeanie and Pony at Tres Pel, for bunking out again this year. I fell coming off a dive boat and sprang, or broke, my big toe and was out of commission for a couple days, and was unable to get dives in with our buddies from Canada.
Currently working on editing the GoPro footage. With one eye being pretty much still out of service, healing from a second retina re-attachment surgery, I thought it would be easier to just shoot video this year rather then stills.
I added video lights to the rig and it made a huge difference, full review of the Big Blue VL3500 set up coming the TR.
Speaking of which, the trip report has been started and will be posed on the ol' blog along with photos and vids a.s.a.p. ....
