Which begs the question, assuming the seals aren't damaged, how often should they be replaced assuming the camera is used approximately once a week?

That would sort of depend on the conditions you use it in. If you frequently dive in silty water or say, do slot of shore diving where your o-ring will be exposed to abrasive substances, it would make sense that it would need replacing sooner than one that had only been used in clear water.

Even if I notice no nicks and dings in the o-ring, I try to replace them about once a year. Just in case. $10-12 is a small enough expense to make sure all is well!
