WC-DC52 A570IS Ikelite housing

I think I already know the answer to this...but does anyone know if the Canon wide angle lens can fit inside the Ikelite housing for the A570IS? The price is much easier to swallow than the inon or ikelite wide angle lenses. If not, I guess I'll have to wait and save up to get the ikelite lens. Also, does shooting with a .7x -.5x wide angle lens make your videos look weird (barrel distortion and what not)? When I dive I like to switch back and forth from video to pictures and I'd rather not have to keep removing the lens. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The answer is NO.

You will have to have either the Inon WA lens, Type II or the Ikelite wide angle lens. Even if it would fit you would still be shooting through a FLAT port, sorry, it will not work.
