I watched this video last night. It's about Florida's ground water, and one dive team's exploration of the aquifer. Although the environmental message is very heavy-handed -- and deliberately, I think -- I found the video fascinating. The filming itself is fabulous, and I can only imagine what went into getting the footage of these guys going through tight restrictions in obvious high flow. And the story of the two divers travelling underneath roads, houses and restaurants is just amazing. It was a really great way to spend 45 minutes or so!

I believe this has also been aired on HDTV, and I think there were a couple of a threads about it a month or so ago, but this is a DVD that's available to those of us who don't have HDTV.

Yep - I have this DVD, having seen the programme on PBS a while ago. It's really excellent, though the garbage and waste seen in some of the sinkholes makes you heartsick for the Florida water and environment.

Interesting stuff for sure.
