I'll be diving Palau on the Aggressor, with a week at the Palau Pacific from May 3, 2008 to May 17. What can I expect for water temps then? I know to take a warmer suit because of the many dives per day. What do the gurus of the board recommend.
Thanks in advance,
DMdoogie

we were just there in December and water temps ranged from 82 degrees up to 86 degrees on a few dives! My hubby and I wore our 3mm suits and were very happy since we did 4-5 dives per day (gotta love those liveaboards!) Some people on the boat were only in shorts or swimsuits.
We were told my the DMs that water temps don't change much as they don't really have seasons (other than the monsoon season in Sept when it rains the most).

I live in Palau, and I don't wear a wet suit when I dive. I have one, of course, but it just isn't needed. I dive in a T-shirt and shorts.

Then again, I don't dive 4-5 times a day, and I don't get cold easily. I guess it would be better to have it and not need it, if you want to be careful.

Was there last year from May 1 -6. Water temperature ranged from 82 to 85 degrees F. 3 mil was great.
