water temps (help)

i will at the moon palace and plan on doing some diving and would like to no how or the temps of the water around there. do u think a insulated skin will be good enough or a 2/3
 
Hi. obviously, it's a personal choice, but I was diving in that area on Tues. and the water temp was 78/79F. hopefully the winds have died down--they blew the entire week last week and most of my ocean diving got canceled and when it didn't, it was nasty swells. It was still blowing when I left yesterday. I am always cold in anything less than 84F, so I wore my 7mm. my husband wore a 3mm and was fine in that. he said he would have been cold in less than that. I would probably opt for your 3/2.
