I got this sent to one of my bs e-mail accounts. I talked to Citibank's security people and sent it to them so they could have a look at it. Yes, I KNEW before calling that this was fake. I just wanted to know if they wanted to look at it to try to find the morons who keep sending these out. They did want it. They advise against even clicking the links included, because some of the sites try to infect your computer with nasties.

BTW, I did edit the URL for our safety.

This is a perfect example of little things making an internet scam obvious. No professional organization would let out that kind of grammar on an official notice. "within the nearest time"?! Huh?! This is clearly either a non-English speaker or an uneducated idiot!

I just want to ask people why they thought a professional company would send out junk like that! This is a professional document, not the lyrics of some hiphop band! :banghead:

I appreciate your point, but as time has gone by for this old man, I've seen a steady degradation in grammar, punctuation and spelling. So, it wouldn't surprise if level of butchery of our language you cite becomes quite the accepted norm.
