BKP and I dove Blue Water last weekend. While we were there a tall, slim, dark haired young fellow with what sounded like an eastern european accent started talking to us. He told us he was trying to "shake himself up" so he went down to 137 feet 9with no narc according to him) until he reached 150 psi then ascended to 100 feet where he was able to dive for a few minutes then he came up running out of air as he reached the surface. When asked what he would have done had he run out of air at depth he commented that just dumping his weights and inflating his BC would "rocket" him to the surface in no time.
Ok...so most of what he said was obvious BS, even if he is only half as foolish as he sounded he is a very dangerous diver, if you run into him (supposedly he lives 1-2 hours from Blue Water) don't buddy with him.
I mentioned it to the on site DM and he was going to go talk to him. I hope he was only handing us a load but you never know. While he was talking he also siad he was doing a 3 hour deco to make up for it.
The guy was so out there it was a bit scary.
Anyway, watch out for this fellow, he may do things during a dive you don't want to follow.
