Back from one trip and still processing images from the previous trip....

So anyway, from Anilao in The Philippines, here is a variety of critters...

Spiny Waspfish (Ablabys macracanthus)
Close relative of the Cockatoo Waspfish - only difference is the # of dorsal spines (15 for Spiny, 17 for Cockatoo)

Coleman Shrimp in Fire Urchin with Isopod
Very pleased with this image. Do you see the large 'toothache' lump on the right side of the larger shrimp? That is a Bopyrid Parasitic Isopod which lives in the gills of the shrimp. Way cool for a photographer - way not cool for the shrimp.
