So ill likely be spending a couple of days in wasga beach this summer and i just wanted to know of any good dive sites and any good operators, thanks

Sharknut,
There is very little diving in the Wasaga area especially in the summer with all of the boats and jetskis' about. Collingwood has some great diving oppurtunities but you will need a boat. There are several wrecks out in the lake off of the harbour entrance. As well there are many old dumping grounds were they would drop the dredging spoils from the inner harbour. Here you can find old bottles, ships china and other cast offs from the early shipping days of the harbour. I've been diving this area for over 20 years now and still manage to find new and interesting pieces. I don't believe there is a charter sevice in town but a shop has recently opened on the main street. Give me an idea of when you may be in the area and maybe we can get out. Greg
