wanted cheap under water digital camera

I am looking for an inexpensive under water camera. I dont know much about them, what to look for or where i can find an affordable one. if you can help please let me know thanks

My suggestion would be to hunt down an older Canon Elph camera and underwater housing. Some housings are only rated for 25 feet, while others are 130 feet or so. So you must verify that the camera has a deep housing availible for it. You can probably find the camera low cost, and the housing for whatever. The earlier cameras didn't handle movement so well, so rolling your finger onto the shutter release works best (don't jerk the camera hard when snapping).

I have a SD550 + housing, and I dig it!

did I find a great deal or what .... purchased a new OLYMPUS PT-021 housing from Leasurepro for $49.95 last summer..... then I bought a used olympus D-580 off Ebay for $60 ....... so for around $110 I'am all set to take ditical pictures ......
