Firstly, i'll tell you my problem, i'm 15 and want to get kitted out for scuba diving, i've got no gear at the moment... But, im 15.... I'm afraid of growing out of my equipment, and considering i dive about 3 times a year(several dives on these occasions) i dont think i'll get my moneys worth! !=(!

I need advice on what basic equipment i could get, that would be useful on dives anyhow. I think i should just wait it out, but i'd appreciate any advice.

And if i was to get equipment how much could i expect to spend, and also what dive packages/brands would you reccomend?

TIA! , Dive ireland

I would get me a good reg setup first if I were you, as well as your basic mask, snorkel, & fins, find a good deal on used thermal protection, and borrow, rent or buy used for while till you are past any expected growth spurts. You cannot 'outgrow' a good set of regs, and could be diving them for decades to come if you maintain them. Good luck with putting your kit together and safe diving.
