Hi taking a trip to wakulla springs area and although not doing any diving I would like suggestions on what people think would be interesting sinks/ springs or other cool karst stuff to hike to or see. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks

Definitely want to check those out , Any thoughts on Shepard spring ? Looks like it’s about a three mile hike

A half hour east there is a ~4mi hike that goes along the Aucilla river. If you're looking for crystal clear spring water this isn't the spot, but it does have some of the most pretty karst terrain you could ask for.

I have done Aucilla sinks trail and it was very cool.

So I made it up this Monday and Tuesday to get the lay of the land. I checked out Wakulla springs, sally ward, and found emerald sink , Cheryl sink and split sink. All really awesome, definitely interested In diving emerald next winter. Unfortunately Leon sinks area was closed as well as Wakulla river sinks area. Supposed to be repairing the boardwalk and overlooks. Bugs were getting bad so opted out of shepherd springs. Great area I’ll definitely be back.

Apparently Harvey’s Sink is “clear” right now. Clear as in 20’. Usually it’s like 2’.

The main passage is 70ish ft deep, but there are sections that are 270+. It’s a cool spot, but pls make sure to be done diving by dark.

I’m not familiar with Harvey’s , I definitely want to head up again and check out church sink and a few others I’ll add that to the list. Thanks
