Planning on finally getting to Wakatobi dive resort in 2017. My research seems to indicate the best time of year to go is June to November. However, February would be the best time for me to get away. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like there, in general, that time of year.

All the Best

I have done wakatobi a couple of times in late january. The wakatobi area is very dry but when it rains it is very hard. We had to wait one day a couple of hours as the rain was so hard could barely see the end of the dock. Water temperature is the warmest at that time of year. Visibility is about 80-100 feet. A slight breeze most days.
