I'm a Fish!
Something I've noticed in the the past week or so: SB never completes a page display (or refresh). I usually see it stalled on "Transferring data from www.scubaboard.com", but it frequently has problems with:

"Waiting for home.planet.nl"
"Waiting for www.google-analytics.com"
"Waiting for stats.big-boards.com"

What's with these two sites? Especially that .nl site???

That's a file that needs to be transferred to the SB server but always got pushed aside by more urgent jobs... :D

So it sounds like it's on the TODO list? Just ignore it until then, correct?

planet.nl is a Dutch ISP........my daughter and her husband use it. I'm not quite sure why it's involved with SB though..... (or for that matter the other URLs if they are causing problems..)

OK, I've dug into this a bit more. Take a look at the source code; forums.php in this case:

1) 'home.planet.nl' is being referenced in the block starting with the comment "Begin Supporting Members Thank You Block" (inside the comment "Begin Skyscraper Block").

2) 'stats.big-boards.com' is being referenced in the block starting with the comment "Begin RSS Block" (also inside the comment "Begin Skyscraper Block").

3) 'www.google-analytics.com' is referenced when trying to load "urchin.js".

There appears to be a connection problem with these web sites. Lastly, could we please lose the call to "SMTY.jpg"? It affects Supporting Members only, and IMHO, Supporting Members shouldn't have to be stalled due to a JPG on a foreign, personal web site....
