Wah ha ha ... I was on Shark week !!!

I was just catching up on the shark week footage ... yeah yeah .. I know ... mostly pretty bad ... but on the "primal Scream" episode they showed some clips from the shark dive I did in Guadalupe when the white shark got stuck on the cage ... ok you didn`t actually see me .. but I was in the cage !!!

I'm jealous in ways you don't know. I have a life dream of diving with Great Whites. I have seen the episode. It was Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must vote NOOOOOO to the linking to the Warhammer maneuver. My dive buddy and I saw our first shark yesterday and I thought he was gonna fill his drawers at the sight of it as well. Thank goodness cooler heads prevailed!

Speaking of GW shark dives. Has anyone done the Farallon Islands cage dive? I'm headed out that way in October for a wedding and am considering it. It's kind of expensive at like $700 or so for the day. Sounds like unlimited time in the cage, but no guarrentee they will show up.

Personally, I see the Warhammer Maneuver as an evolutionary defense against shark attacks. I'm sure that it would be an effective deterrent...
