I want to start my underwater photography in a couple months with a new camera that I’m not personally familiar with and in a dive location I’ve never been. I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew to begin with and would like to focus on wide angle or macro. So:
I’m getting a Canon S95 & I’m going to Grand Turk.
Should I get a wide angle lens and work with those types of photos or get a lens that will allow me to work on macro? I’ve read that the S95 is capable of taking decent macro shots so I was leaning towards getting the wide angle lens first and the macro later, but I’m not familiar with what types of photo ops I will have in Grand Turk.
