VT3 Firmware ?

I have heard there are two versions of firmware for the VT3 !
Can anyone expand on this ?
What are the differences and do I need to get the latest version ?

right now, you can't update the firmware. i've seen down to r1e version. no functionality differences as far as i can tell, so i'm guessing just bug fixes. hopefully, they'll let use update the firmware later.
