VR3 computer reset, any else?

calling out to VR3 users. I changed the battery on my VR3 sat for a sun dive. followed the directions and all was well. sunday on my dive it reset to the factory settings around 40ft on my descent. happened on my second dive of the day, also. My question, this ever happen to you? any idea why? any suggestions what to do? ive contacted service but they have not responded yet. Please only respond to my post if your answering my questions and own a vr3 or have technical knowledge of one. thanks

I've replaced the battery in mine but have not had this happen, hmmm. Have you tried the VR3 forum.

You may want to post/look there. Simon the moderator is great. With the time change it can take a day or so to hear back.

Have you reset it back to your spec's, entering your serial #'s, is it taking them ok?
