Hello!

My wife and I are going to be visiting the Cyclades in early May, and are looking to do some diving from a bareboat yacht we're chartering. We're picking up and dropping off the boat in Paros, does anyone have any contacts that would be willing to rent some double sets for a week? We are GUE Tech 1 and Cave 2, and will have our tech rigs with us as we're diving in Hungary the week before.

Cheers,

Liam

Well, my experience in Paros is limited and dates back more or less 10 years ago. There were only 2 dive operators at that time : one in Piso Aliki (the owner was a good friend of mine) and one on the norther coast of the island (more tek oriented ; at least that's what it advertised for, but never had anything to do with it, so cannot vouch for it). None of these operator rented tanks only.

Here's the web site in Piso Aliki (new owner now), maybe it's worth an email.

As you're cave trained, you might be interested in diving Amphitritis Cave, between Paros and Antiparos. My friend Sara rediscovered it. Here's a video (some more recent available on the net)

You've got other cave close Panderonissi island, but unless I'm mistaken, they don't require a cave training nor a cave diving rig (more cavern I guess).
