We were around the corner in the bay last night and vis was about 20 ft in the shallows and about 40 ft below the 40ft thermocline.

Today July 15, what NDO said. A good 40' on the large wall and it was good hunting also (just looking not taking the things we like to see) It was sensory overload, there was a lot of over here, no over here, and over here and over here, no over here :D:D:D

Three of us went out for one quick dive on Sunday morning. (the 15th). Vis was poor 'til we dropped below the 35'-40' mark. Then vis good, water was warm, and the fish were really active.

It was fun, we have been diving around Nanaimo since 2001 and I had yet to make it to this site. It was worth it, we'll be back for two this Sunday.
