Staying 6 days with Dive BVI.
Scheduled for 8 dives. 2 on the Rhone!
Any specific things I should see while there?

Topside, absolutely do not miss going to the Baths. It has to be the eighth wonder of the world. Beautiful grottos to explore and nice sandy beach.

I've seen pictures of the Baths and I think my lodging is near there. I've also got 2 dives scheduled on the Rhone. The whole island sounds like a neat place.

It is. Very laid back and nautical. There's a lot of breeze so it's pretty cool all the time. We rented a villa up the hill from Spanish Town and it didn't have A/C - didn't need it.

We really liked DiveBVI, they provide outstanding service. Kept our gear all week, laid it out on the boat daily and returned it clean/dry the morning we left. Jeff and Casey are fun people also. DiveBVI will do 2 dives on the Rhone - front and back are separated so each is a good dive. They do a good briefing on what to see also. I don't generally wreck dive but I liked that one. Other good dives are Seal Dog Rock, Coral Gardens and Chimney off Great Dog Island, most of the Ginger Island dives were good also. With eight planned dives you'll dive some of the nearby smaller islands on the VG side of the channel most likely.

Ask to do lunch at the Willy T one day also. It's a floating bar/grill off Norman Island. DiveBVI will usually go near there at least once during the week. Welcome to The William Thornton - Floating Bar & Resturant

There's some very pristine beaches on VG - some are totally isolated. The Baths has good beaches also but the cruisers come over from Tortola some days. There's also a better beach adjacent to it, ask a local for directions.

Go up to Leverick Bay resort on Friday night for the Beach BBQ - tourists, locals, possibly some of the DiveBVI LB crew will all be there. It's probably a 1/2 hr. + drive to the north side. http://www.leverickbay.com/Leverick_Bay/restaurant.php
Mineshaft Cafe has a great view and a mini-golf course. Good food and average prices also. Mine Shaft Cafe
Chez Bamboo in town will have Jazz music/dancing on Friday night. We went there after the Leverick Bay BBQ.
We also really liked Rock Cafe - a little more expensive but set in an area like the Baths - big rocks and waterfalls surround the tables. They get fresh lobster from Anegada and prepare it several good ways. Also a piano bar. Ask to sit outside as inside is a little loud when the music/crowd is there. The Rock Cafe ? We just got back from VG (first week in April). Rented a bungalow at Guavaberry Spring Bay and dove with Dive BVI. Nothing but positive comments for Dive BVI. You'll enjoy the Rhone. If you have a car, make sure you drive up to Hog Heaven for a spectacular view and great ribs. If you like local places, try Coconut Junction in Spanish town. Don't let the looks of the place fool you. Ate there twice. Best meals we had and cheapest! Coco Maya is new and a good choice for a more upscale dinner. Right on the beach. Savannah Bay is a great out of the way beach to relax on. Pretty good snorkeling too.

I'm looking for a place to dive in mid-April. I've been to pretty much everywhere that has good diving in the Caribbean. I dove the Rhone a few years ago.
It sounds like Dive BVI is the op to go with. Where should I stay that's close to them?

Also, is it possible to get over to Yost Van Dyke to check it out?
