Hi, im Simon

I have just bought my c5050, and I am going to test it in Cozumel. The only
thing is that I discovered thet the video mode produces videos of poor quality.
I heard from a friend that there is a device that makes the video better.
Did enyone hear of something like that? Where could i get it?

Thanks

hmmm, sounds interesting, but I can't imagine how can it be done. If the pixels aren't there to begin with, where are they going to come from?

Looking forward to seeing some responses.

Never heard of such a device. Remember, the main function of the camera is as a still camera. It isn't designed for quality video. Sorry if you lead to believe otherwise.

Hi Simon,
Wow, you got me on that one - if you find out, please stop by & show me when you are here in Cozumel!!!! I LOVE learning about new gadgets!!! And I absolutely agree with Dee - you bought a still digital camera, the video is added bonus, but NOT what it was designed to do best!!
Thanks!
Holly

What kind of quality problems are you seeing? It seems like it needs outdoor sunlight for good quality. Also, are you setting the camera to SQ (160x120) or HQ (320x240)?

Granted, I've been much luckier with still shots than videos (just on land for right now).
