Just back from an awesome liveaboard trip on the Red Sea including footage of a completely unexpected Whale Shark encounter. First time use of new L & M Sola 1200 Video Light. Camera: Sony HDR-550CX w/ Amphibico housing. Editing software: Pinncle HD

Great! I've dived the Red Sea hundreds of times, and had some good shark encounters - threshers, hammerheads, oceanic WT etc, but never, never, a whale shark!!!. Must have been a great trip!
Cheers,
Matt

Thanks Matt. Just minutes before our very first check out dive, the whale shark was spotted near the surface. Thankfully, I had just set up my video rig so that I could grab it & my mask, snorkel & fins & jump in. The zodiacs were then dispatched to keep retrieving divers & dumping them off in front of this beautiful beast :-)

BTW - 'just viewed some of your Vimeo vid's - NICE work! I'll PM later to get details on another bucket list destination: Palau.
