While we were on a scuba diving trip in Browning Pass last week, we were lucky enough to come upon a pod of orcas near Hussar Point. We then noticed they were harassing a seal, seemingly toying with it, then gave it multiple tail-slaps. They seemed to be showing the smallest one how to hunt. They eventually killed the seal. Strangely, although their fin-shape suggests they were resident killer whales, their behaviour was that of transients.
