I've gotten about three dives with the Flip UltraHD now, and I'm still getting used to it (the wide angle lens makes it a bit front/top-heavy, lack of image stabilization means a bit more jitter, and the rolling shutter of the CMOS sensor makes software image stabilization not particularly useful), but overall I've very pleased with the results thus far. The hardware is quite an improvement over the video from my existing point&shoot digicam.
This was shot on Sunday. I'm still unwilling to go the video light route (I have enough trouble dealing with a dangly housing), but IMO the Flip even makes the blues and greens quite pleasing. Part of the shakiness and off-kilter horizon is because the leash I made for the rig is a bit too short.
