You might loo9k at VideoSpin also. Free video editing software download lets you edit and upload your movies for free - VideoSpin
It's a Pinnacle product that's similar to Studio. It might be an earlier version of Studio that's missing some features.
I don't think it does capture and it doesn't burn DVD's. But it's an NLE and they give you some transitions, sound options etc.

i use cyberlink powerdirector.
its got many features and renders blazingly fast.
