This video gives a good impression about the diving at he Gili Islands. Besides some shots of the islands itself, you'll see the following dive sites in this film: Bounty Wreck, Turtle City, Shark Point, Meno's Wall, Han's Reef and Manta Point.
The diving around the Gili Islands is absolutely recommended. You have a huge variety of different types of dive sites, there is plenty of life under water and you can also do a wreck dive. The coral in these islands have always suffered from the dynamite fishing but that is no longer the case and the coral is recovering well. The islands definitely give you the 'bounty' feeling, and there is no traffic on the islands. You do everything by foot, by bicycle or horse and carriage.
