Vicious carnivorous fish attack

Well I was out at the quarry this morning, lying on the bottom, playing "dead",waiting for some Rescue Diver students to find me as they ran their search pattern.

And the bluegill were surrounding me as usual. Some poised in front of my mask as if looking at their reflection like they so often do.

Quick as lightning one of those feisty little S.O.B.s bit my upper lip just right of the center. Took some of the skin off and I am swollen and bruised.

I'm coming back next time with a spear gun and take out that little 8 ounce rascal. I'd recognize his face anywhere.

I can only imagine the story he's telling other fish. The day he bit Goliath and won.

If the other fish catch on you might have a real problem on your hands at that dive site. *smirk*

I've been attacked myself. I didn't loose any flesh, but a healthy bruise swelled up. I couldn't believe it. It felt like I got punched in the head. Tempermental little fish.

Pilot program to splice piranha DNA into bluegill is now in test phase 1. Preliminary results promising.

Concurrent testing underway on releasing engineered fish into enemy bathtubs. Preliminary results discouraging. Some of our enemies never take baths.

I WILL not dive without a hood and gloves in my quarry!

I've witnessed many attacks! Mostly earlobes and fingers but never lips! yikes!!!

I got head butted by one of the little buggers a few years back and swore I was going to tape a packet of tartar sauce to the top of my mask as a warning!
