I laid off diving for 5 months and had my equipment serviced so I thought I would try my equipment in the pool before an up coming dive trip.
In the pool I was swimming around and practicing bouyancy skills and found that as I went from the deep end to the shallow end I had a moment of vertigo. It happended only once on the first swim around but I was wondering, is it normal and should I resume diving before being checked out?
I've noticed before that I had vertigo on deep dives but when I slowed or stopped it goes away so i just assume it's unequal ear pressure. Still, am I a target for a barotrama and can I resume diving?
