I experienced some vertigo/spinning during a training dive at Dutch this weekend. It was my first dive of the weekend. We had spent about 20 minutes at the 25ft platform and then had moved off the platform to a 30ft depth. Once there and doing skills practice everything seemed fine until I heard a strange buzzing sound in my left ear. It sounded like a scooter was going by so I thought to myself "aaah a scooter" wonderful. Then all of the sudden my world started spinning and spinning and spinnning. I knew i wasn't REALLY spinning but it was unpleasant and I thumbed the dive(and sadly proceeded to ascend a little too fast, not dangerously fast, but close to it). After speaking to my instructor we decided that I was ok, and proceeded to dive the rest of the weekend, and while I kept hearing the "scooter" noise, I did not have any more vertigo experiences. Any thoughts?
