I'm going to Veracruz Oct 8-12 to watch the hawk migration but found out there's good diving there. Has anyone been or know anyone who has been? If so, please share experience including dive shop used. Thanks for any info. I'm staying in Cardel, just north of Veracruz City.

I run tours to Veracruz and can help you out. I have gone diving there myself and was impressed with the protected reefs found only 10 minutes out from the port city of Veracruz. If you let me know when you would like to go, I can help you set it up.

A 2 tank dive will run $765 pesos. To rent all the gear there, add an additional $325.

I too will be leaving from Chicago to go down there Sept. 24th but will miss you as I will be returning home on October 9th. Too bad. I could have joined you on the dive.
