Hi all,
sorry if there are similar posts but I have not been to the forum for a while and I fail finding the "search in a particular forum" function ....

SO

Going somewhere warm in mid June (from Melbourne) for 8 days. Never been to Vanuatu, so that's a possibility.
Travelling with wife (former diver now, just a little bit more than a snorkeler :shakehead:
and 2 yo baby.
I need a baby friendly island, with good diving. Is that asking too much?
Nice beach and possibly nice house reef.
I cannot afford been on a boat all day as the rest of the family would claim daddy back.

thanks

PS I'll post something similar in the Australia forum to get your feelings about queensland.

That's an almost exact description of my family as well. Spent a week at Hideaway Island in Vanuatu a year or so ago and would go back in a heartbeat. Dive sites are extremely close to the resort, so not a huge time commitment. Snorkeling is fabulous right from the beach.

Not a flashy place, but nice, clean, good food, friendly staff. Reasonably priced.
