Vanuatu (Santo & Tanna Advise)

Hi,
(For some reason the search function does not seem to work for the Pacific forum)

I am planning a trip to Fiji & Vanuatu early Oct. As this will be a very long journey for me I have decided to do both Fiji & Santo in 1 trip.
5 Dive Days Fiji (Bega), 5 dive days Santo, (2 days tanna??) with a few travel days in between.

I have a couple of questions about Vanuatu.

I am planning a week of diving at Santo. Probably with Aquamarine staying at Hotel Santo.
Has anybody combined a trip to Santo & Tanna volcano. Any advice.
Should I over night in PV? Baggage problems? The weight limits seems to be low for the domestic flights.
(Any place I could leave my dive gear at PV airport when I go to Tanna?)

Would appreciate any feed back on diving Santo & particularly Tanna volcano.
The side trip to Tanna makes my trip complicated especially when combining trip to Fiji.

Hi there, did you end up going to Tanna? My regret when I did go to Santo was not getting to Tanna on the way home so curious as to how you got on... Hope you had a great trip.

I got a last minute spot on the Galapagos Aggressor so i gave Fiji/van a miss.
Planning to go there sometime in 09 instead.
Will do tanna.
