Im intersted in some places i can gather mussels, scallops.. crabs etc in and around vancouver..

does anyone know some good spots?

ive never done it before..


all i know is ive been diving and caught some big crabs, but was advised to throw them back because they were in a marine park...

i kinda wanna do it legit so i dont lose my boat or car.

Take a ferry ride to Bowen Island for the day. The West side. I believe you need a saltwater fishing license and you have to stay in quotas. DFO can take your car if you don't have a fishing license and if you don't follow the rules. You can even get fishing licenses on line now. I fresh water catch-and-release flyfish in a belly boat so I'm not 100%on top of saltwater rules.
