hello all
so things have moved on with my planning for my trip to Cairns in September. I did a previous post where I was debating liveaboard vs non-liveaboard. I've managed to arrange it with my non-diving friend that I'm meeting her a bit later and I have time for a 1 night, 2 day liveaboard from Cairns. Ok that's not long so no cod hole or mike ball for me but better than nothing Ithink! My question - I really like the look of these people "Vagabond diving" Great Barrier Reef Diving & Snorkelling Aboard 65' Luxury Yacht - Dive Cairns Australia because i'm used to pretty small dive boats and not ones with 30 -40 odd people on. But I'm worried that they don't look like specialist dive people and maybe things might not be as correct or rigorous as on a bigger dive boat?
What do people think?
do you have any experience or know anyone who does, with these guys? Great Barrier Reef Diving & Snorkelling Aboard 65' Luxury Yacht - Dive Cairns Australia
thanks sooo much
Kathryn

They are a bit more expensive than the larger boats and not a dedicated dive boat, but do have a good reputaion, and the Reefs they go to are Outer Reef areas with some nice spots.

But you do get the advanteg of the smaller group and compared to other sail boats (Coral Sea Dreaming) are pretty good.

They still have to abide by the Queensland reguations, so would be safe and professional. Looks great and would be interested in hearing about it when you get back. Post a report! :)
