I have an Aladin Air Z Nitrox and want to change my setup to 300 bar.
Neither the guide nor the ship can tell me if the Transmitter is good for 300 bar.
And if not what the maximum pressure of it is/what happens if there is more (is it just not displayed or does it brake).
Anyone knows? The guidebook also does not tell anything.

the change of your setup to 300 bar should not make any difference for the transmitter at all. the 300 bar / 200 bar classification only refers to the maximum pressure the valve connection is safe to operate/withstand.

I got told that the transmitter can't do 300 bar. Of course the change of the setup won't make a difference but when I use it at 300 bar....
No one can tell me the limit of the transmitter.

So far I found that the limit is 255 bar. If there is more pressure it just shows 255 bar
But I still don't know if you use it at 300 bar, are just 255 shown or does the sensor get damaged?

The Galileo transmitor goes to 300 so I would guess (and that is just an educated guess) that the Uwatec one would aswell.

One diver in a German discussion board which I found with google had the idea that it is just a software issue. That they spent just 8 bits (1 byte) for the pressure and so it can't display more than 255.
Sound logic?
I am a bit afraid of pressurize it with 300 bar, but nowhere it tells "don't do it!".

Update: I got this email from Scubapro:

Der Sender des Aladin Air Z Nitrox arbeitet sowohl mit 200 als auch mit 300 bar. Für weitere Fragen stehen wir Ihnen selbstverständlich zur Verfügung.
Mit Freundlichen Grüßen

rough translation: The transmitter of Aladin Air Z Nitrox works with 200 and also 300 bar. For additional questions, blabla bla
