hi folks !!

am looking for a new housing for my G10 with facility for wet lenses including macro and wide angle attachments. is Ikelite the only one available ? appreciate info on this with estimated costs for systems. NOT looking for top end models. thanks and regards.

There are plenty of options when it comes to macro for the G10, but with wide angle your quite limited. The Ikelite housing does have a semi-wide angle dome attachment which brings back the FOV to 28mm, but nothing beyond that. The only true option for wide angle with the G10 is with the Fix housing/ Fix Fisheye and even that is not a wet lens.

If your hard set in getting a housing for your g10 and not upgrading everything, I would suggest the Ikelite system. I personally use an Ike/G10 setup and have got some decent results. You won't get "true" wide angle but if that is not a top priority, you'll love it.

Alternatively, if I was in your position, I would save up the extra funds and purchase a Canon S90 / Fix or Ikelite housing. This system has the potential to shoot true wide angle and macro "via wet lenses", while at the same time staying very compact and portable.
