Im gonna keep the Utila bashing to a minimum, but i can handle the no power during easter, i can handle the yacht robberies, and advisories by the boat associations(cause i dont have a yacht). But this week without any warning a cop took my dog away, which was abandoned in the streets when i got here in December, malnourished, tick-infested, and with an open gash on its leg.

After looking for months for the owner, no one came forward, im hard to miss (240lb bald guy in a hawaiian shirt). After he chased a scooter, the cop said he had to go in the bush to "paco" who owned him. If the police knew he belonged to "paco" and that they didnt want him chasing scooters, why not say something months ago before just yanking him away????

So ive had it with Utila, am looking for a new home in the Caribbean or southern US. My short list is: San Diego, FL, BVI, USVI, Bonaire, Dominica. Need a spot where a soon to be MSDT with o2 and gas blend + insurance can pay the bills at the end of the month. Any ideas on locations, etc????

Thanks

That's not all bad.......Utila does have it's good and bad. A few years ago the cops were robbing the people at gunpoint.
